According to whispers that surfaced in late March 2025, the Milton Keynes-based squad reportedly considered rolling out a striking pink livery for the Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for April 4-6 at Suzuka.
The vibrant color scheme was allegedly scrapped because it added too much weight to the RB21 car, compromising performance at a critical juncture in the season.
The speculation first gained traction on social media platforms like X, where posts from accounts such as @RBR_Daily and @SCUDERIAFEMBOY claimed, “Red Bull had intended to make the cars pink, however it added too much weight,” accompanied by mock-up images of a pink RB21.
